This old logging boat from the past was located along the shore of Burntroot Lake in the middle of the Park. I had a hard time finding it, but was determined. I wanted to be able to say “artist finds Alligator in Algonquin Park!”. I have photos of this alligator from 1912, the 1950’s and mine in 2013. It was a challenge painting this with all the varied angles and colour. Certainly worth it!
